An Internet domain is a network identifier associated with a group of devices or computers connected to the Internet. This means that a domain is the name of an internet address designated a person, business or company with which you are identified in the rest of the world.
In the world of internet computers communicate through a communication protocol which is known in the underworld as the famous HTTP. Domains without going to a website would have to point the IP address in your browser in order to enter the site you want.
But imagine http://192.200.23.8 find a page? If you like me to remember names wrong, now remember the IP imagine your girlfriend? (Lol true story) is like a phone number and what if you are worse to remember phone numbers? So thanks to the domains we are much easier to find information because search engines rank your domain name along with the content to give prominence to the display time of the searches.
But there are good free domains and others for which we pay an annual fee. Domains can get in free on wordpress.com, blogspot.com, squidoo.com, etc. But like everything needs a hosting domain without exception, if we get a free domain usually these sites add your name to your domain eg http://www.elsecretodelinternetmarketing.blogspot.com which means they also control advertising , ads, etc.. SEO and depends on them.
